If you’re longing for a slice of Landour Mussoorie right in the heart of New Delhi, look no further than Music & Mountains – Hillside Cafe & Cocktail Bar in GK1. Nestled on the top floor, this charming spot offers an old-school, British cafe vibe, making it a perfect escape from the bustling city below.

As soon as you step in, the all-wooden interior, coupled with a warm and cosy ambiance, especially on a rainy day, makes for the perfect candlelight dinner spot.

Ambiance and Setting: As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm, woody interior that instantly transports you to a cosy mountain retreat. The ambiance is straight out of a romance novel, creating an intimate and romantic setting ideal for a special evening. When we visited, it was raining outside, adding to the warm and cosy environment. It’s the perfect spot for a candlelight dinner, where every detail is designed to make your evening memorable.

Service: The service at Music & Mountains is exceptional. The attentive staff ensures a delightful dining experience from start to finish. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a cosy dinner date, the staff’s hospitality adds a special touch to your visit.

Food: When it comes to food, the cafe doesn’t disappoint. The sizzlers are a must-have, and even the vegetarian option is quite good. Although the non-vegetarian options outnumber the vegetarian ones, expanding the vegetarian sizzler menu would be a nice addition. The quality of the food justifies the price, which is on the higher side, but every bite feels worth it.

Vegetarian Offerings: While the cafe offers a vegetarian menu or section with clearly labelled dishes, the vegetarian options could be more extensive. Despite this, the current offerings are delicious and satisfying.

Parking: Parking could be a bit of an issue, as the cafe is located right between the GK market. It’s advisable to park wherever you find a spot within a 500-metre radius. Despite this minor inconvenience, the experience inside more than makes up for it.
