My Bar Headquarters – A Disappointing Experience

When it comes to enjoying a night out with friends, the last thing you want is to be let down by poor service, especially when you’ve hyped up a place. Unfortunately, my experience at My Bar Headquarters in Defence Colony, Delhi, was nothing short of disappointing. This was meant to be a fun night out, but it quickly turned into one of those “never again” moments, and I deeply regret suggesting it to my friends.

First Impressions

Located at D-16, 3rd Floor & Terrace, Defence Colony, My Bar Headquarters offers a fairly appealing setup, with a spacious terrace that seems perfect for a breezy evening. But appearances can be deceiving. Despite the decent ambiance, the overall experience was dragged down by unprofessional and inattentive staff, making the entire night unpleasant.

The Worst Service Ever

Service is the most significant aspect of any dining or drinking experience, and it was severely lacking here. To put it simply, the staff was incredibly slow. We arrived with high hopes, ready to enjoy a good evening, but it quickly became apparent that getting the staff’s attention was a Herculean task. I lost count of how many times we had to call the waiters just to get basic service.

We were forced to repeatedly remind the staff to bring food to our table, and even then, they were either too slow or forgot half of the order. At one point, I had to walk up to the bar myself to get drinks for my group because no one came to take our order despite us trying to wave them down several times. It was embarrassing, especially as I was the one who recommended this place to my friends.

Inconsistent Food Service

Even worse, the food service was just as unreliable. Plates arrived sporadically, and the quality left much to be desired. When we finally got our order, the food was either cold or tasted bland. Given the long wait, we were too hungry to complain further and just decided to eat whatever we had.MyBar, Headquarters, Delhi, Nights, Defence, Colony

For a place that’s popular for hosting large groups and parties, this level of service is simply unacceptable. Whether you’re a large party or just a small group of friends, being ignored for the majority of the evening can ruin the mood entirely.

Party Disappointment

Our experience at the party we attended last night was nothing short of disastrous. It was supposed to be a night of celebration, but poor service overshadowed everything else. The lack of attention from the staff led to several guests not being served in time, and we felt constantly frustrated by the delays. The entire night felt like we were at the mercy of the waitstaff, who didn’t seem interested in doing their jobs.

Parking Issues

Adding to the frustrations, the parking situation was less than ideal. There is a free parking lot and free street parking available, but the spaces are quite limited, and it took us quite a while to find a spot. The restaurant is located on the service lane, and if you’re not familiar with the area, finding parking can become quite a hassle, especially on busy nights. Although there are parking options, they are insufficient considering the number of people who visit.

Kid-Friendliness? Not at All

As for being a family-friendly spot, I wouldn’t recommend bringing kids here. The atmosphere is heavily catered toward adults, and the chaos of poor service would make it a challenging environment for families with young children. It is, without a doubt, not suitable for kids.

Overall Experience

My experience at My Bar Headquarters was incredibly disappointing. From the slow service and inattentive staff to the lackluster food and parking issues, it’s clear that this venue needs significant improvements.

What could have been an enjoyable night turned into a source of embarrassment, especially since I had recommended the place to my friends. If you’re considering visiting My Bar Headquarters, I’d suggest thinking twice, especially if you’re expecting prompt service and a relaxing night out.

While the terrace seating and ambiance might look inviting, don’t be fooled by the aesthetics alone. At the end of the day, good service and quality food are what truly matter, and unfortunately, My Bar Headquarters missed the mark on both. I regret choosing this place for a night out, and I’ll be steering clear of it in the future.

Final Thoughts

With such a poor experience, it’s safe to say I won’t be returning to My Bar Headquarters. There are plenty of other spots in Delhi that provide a much better atmosphere, service, and overall experience. I just wish I had picked one of them for our party.
